Plot:

In Maciste in King Solomon’s Mines (1964), evil courtier Riad conspires with barbarian warrior queen Fazira to seize the gold-rich city of Zimba, overthrowing its just king and enslaving the people, but Maciste (played by Reg Park) arrives, gets tricked by Fazira’s magical ankle bracelet to work in the mines, eventually breaks free, and leads a rebellion to restore the rightful heir and defeat the villains.

Production:

Samson in King Solomon’s Mines was produced by Italy’s Panda Societa per L’Industria Cinematografica and filmed at Incir De Paolis Studios in Rome. The film had some location shooting done in South Africa for the wildlife scenes.
