Triumph of the Son of Hercules (1961), also known as Triumph of Maciste, is a 1961 Italian peplum film directed by Tanio Boccia and starring Kirk Morris.
Plot:
This is a typical Italian Hercules film, where the muscular hero battles an evil sorceress, saves innocents, and proves his superhuman strength against mythical threats. The film follows the enforcer Maciste, who battles the tyrannical Queen Tenefee of Memphis, who sacrifices young women to the “Mountain of Thunder” to maintain her power.
Maciste saves women, including the beautiful Anthea, from this fiery fate, battles Queen Tenefee’s monstrous guards, and helps restore the rightful ruler to the throne, demonstrating his incredible strength in epic feats against lava monsters and slavers.
